NEPSE Index Manages to Close Green on the First Trading Day of the Week, Intraday Turnover Inclined To Rs. 1.561 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,963.22 today after gaining 2.16 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.11%. The index gained 11.22 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,961.07 making an intraday high of 1,973.55. It then made an intraday low at 1,957.18 and ultimately closed at 1,963.22.
243 scrips traded hands via 26,150 transactions. A total of 3,694,084 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.561 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.322 Crores.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 19.8 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 882 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.
Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) lost 6.11% today.
Four sector indices closed red, "Life Insurance" gained the highest 1.98% while "Banking " lost the highest by 0.68%.
