Nepse Index lost 7.84 points with turnover of Rs 1.20 arba; 8 companies hit circuit break

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 7.84 points or 0.49% to close at 1600.49 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1607.18 points, the local bourse went up to 1622.24 points in the first trading hour of the day and was seen fluctuating. 110,500 units shares of Laxmi Value Vund-1 (LVF-1) and 110,000 unit shares of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme ( SEOS) were traded most today. Miteri Development Bank Limited (MDB), Vijaya Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (VLBS), Womi Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WOMI), Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS), Nepal Grahmeen Bikas Bank Limited (NGBBL), Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL), Goodwill Finance Company Limited (GFCL) and Arun Finance Limited (ARUN) hit circuit break today. Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) has the highest turnover of Rs 10.95 crore today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.20 arba where more than 16.50 lakh units shares were traded through 8,004 transactions.
