Nepse Index lost 7.06 points to close at 1,362.98 points; Insurance plunges by 117.14 points

The press release issued by SEBON asking investors to be alert while  investing in secondary market  seems to bring in negative sentiment to the investors. Today  the benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange lost  7.06 points or 0.52% to close at 1,362.98 points. Today NEPSE index opened at  1371.57 points and was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 69.79 crore where more than 9.58 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,886 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 1.76  points and  0.48 points respectively. Banking, Development Banks and Insurance sector landed in red, whereas Hotels, Hydropower and Finance landed on green. Insurance sector plunges by 117.14 points.
