Nepse Index lost 12.08 point with turnover of Rs 96.45 crore; Hotel sector rises by double digit

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 12.08 points or 0.67% to close at 1782.39 points. Nepse Index opened at 1794.48 points and was seen in downward trend. 106,622 unit shares of Kumari Bank Limited and 99,491unit shares of Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited were traded most today. Reliable Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Kamana Bikas Bank Limited hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 96.45 crore where more than 10.81 lakh units’ shares were traded through 5,175 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 2.86 and 0.78 points respectively. Except Hotels and Development Banks, all sectors at Nepse landed in red.
