NEPSE Index Loses For Second Consecutive Day; Intraday Turnover Hits Rs. 2.80 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 4.15 points (0.15%) to settle at 2,740.25. This comes after a loss of 39.44 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2746.96 and reached an intraday high of 2,747.84, while the day’s low stood at 2,720.41. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 2.80 Arba, with 5,643,288 shares traded across 339 companies through 42,176 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.73 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.60 Kharba.

 

SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 27.79 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,558.90.


Asian Hydropower Limited (AHL) Led the gainer's list with 11.42%. The Stock closed at Rs. 566.00.


Meanwhile, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 11.17%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,328.00.


Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain by 1.50%, while Non Life Insurance recorded least gain, gaining by 0.61%.
