NEPSE Index Loses By 1.04% to Close at 2614.55 with Rs 6.69 Arba Turnover; All Indices Close at Red

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss on the first trading day of this week, shedding 27.59 points (1.04%) to settle at 2,614.55. In the previous session, the index lost 20.75 points, closing at 2642.15 points.
The benchmark index opened at 2,640.67, touching an intraday high of 2,642.37 and a low of 2,610.70. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.69 Arba, with 15,989,430 shares traded across 324 companies through 72,104 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.98 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.97 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Limited (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 63.42 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 342.10

Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) led the gainer list with 10.00% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 399.30.

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) recorded the steepest drop, falling by 8.92 % change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 340.

Among sectors, Trading Index witnessed a highest loss by 3.61 %, while Mutual Fund Index recorded the least loss by 0.22%.
