Nepse index increases by 8.74 points, creates a new high of 1,266.08 points; Turnover just above Rs 49 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 8.74 points or 0.70% to close at 1,266.08points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1257.37 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs49.94 crore where more than 9 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,358 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 1.98 points and 0.72 points respectively. Except Hydropower, all the sectors at Nepse landed green. Insurance, Manufacturing & production and others went up by double digit.
