Nepse index inches up by 2.05 points to close at 1240.07 points; Turnover above Rs 56 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 2.05 points or 0.17% to close at 1240.07 points. Nepse index opened at 1237.99 points and went up a level of 1248.71 points during the second trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 56.03 crore where more than 10 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,990 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went up by 0.54 points and 0.13 points respectively. Except Hotels and Insurance, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green. Hotel sector went down by 16.01 points.
