NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 6.03 Points on Third Last Trading Day Before March 5 Election

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today on the last trading day of this week, gaining by 6.03 points (0.22%) to settle at 2,654.93. This follows a 10.30 point gain in the previous day.

The benchmark index opened at 2,665.8, touching an intraday high of 2,666.22 and a low of 2,646.43. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.17 arba, with 10,053,145 shares traded across 335 companies through 44,204 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.66 kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.21 Kharba.

Api Power Company Ltd. (API) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 32.68 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 312.40.

Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) led the gainer list with 9.99% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs. 584.50.

10% Nabil Debenture 2082 (NBLD82) recorded a drop, falling by 3.60% change in its price. The stock closed at Rs 1,077.00.

Among the sectors, Non Life Insurance witnessed a highest gain by 1.09%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded a highest loss by 0.41%.
