NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 4.99 Points to Settle at 2,782.10 Level; AKJCL Tops the Turnover Chart

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, inclining by 4.99 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,782.10. This comes after a loss of 9.24 points in the previous trading session on Yesterday.

The benchmark index opened at 2777.72 and reached an intraday high of 2,785.33, while the day’s low stood at 2,766.78. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 6.03 Arba, with 15,249,712 shares traded across 354 companies through 60,562 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.46 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.86 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 71.22 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 440.00.

Kalinchock Hydropower Limited (KHPL) and Led the gainer's list with 14.98%. The Stock closed at Rs. 376.80.

Meanwhile, 10.25% Sanima Debenture 2089 (SBD89) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.64%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,195.00.

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain by 0.73%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded highest fall, falling by 0.43%.
