NEPSE Index Gains Minimal 0.58% and Closes at 1,961.06; Dhaulagiri Laghubitta (DLBS) Hits 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 1,961.06 today after gaining 11.22 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.58%. The index had lost 3.51 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,949.48 made intraday low at 1,941.58. It then made intraday high at 1,969.02 and ultimately closed at 1,961.06.
241 scrips traded hands via 21,186 transactions. A total of 3,865,961 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 1.322 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 84.26 Crores.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 14.45 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 913 per share. The shares of Nepal Credit & Commercial Bank Ltd. Promoter Share (NCCBPO) traded the most.
Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Citizens Mutual Fund -1 (CMF1) lost 3.64% today.
Only three sector indices closed red, "Life Insurance" gained the highest 1.28% while "Non Life Insurance" lost the highest 0.20%.
