NEPSE Index gains for third consecutive day, closing at 1400 points today; two companies hit the positive circuit

The market today reached a high of 1417 points and fell as low as 1387 points and managed to close with minimal gain of 0.13% or 1.77 points. The benchmark index stood at 1400.01 points after gaining for the third consecutive day. The turnover amount stood at Rs.2.12 Arba achieved through trade of 5,468,483 units of shares traded through 20,859 transactions trading scrips of 181 listed companies in the process.

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) posted the highest turnover of Rs.10.65 Crore with LTP at Rs.548 per share. NMB Bank Limited (NMB) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 234,055 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.410 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Kalika Development Bank Limited (KMCDB) gained 69 points and closed at Rs.768 per share while Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) gained 6 points and closed at Rs.69 per share. Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS) was today’s top loser after losing 5.68% or 69 points to close at Rs.1145 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.09 points and closed at 294.95 points while Float Index gained 0.11 points and closed at 99.20 points.
