NEPSE Index Gains by Minimal 8.97 Points to Settle at 2,671.07; NGPL Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 8.97 points (0.33%) to settle at 2,671.07. This follows a 0.04 point loss in the previous day.

The benchmark index opened at 2,662.62, touching an intraday high of 2,681.65, while the lowest point was 2,657.86. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 11.10 Arba, with 27,780,584 shares traded across 337 companies through 106,018 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.84 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.27 Kharba.


Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 70.53 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 434.00.


Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC) led the gainers list with 9.99% change in its price.

 

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited (KDL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.59%.


Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.18%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 1.65%.
