NEPSE index gained by 37.93 points to close at 1336.66 levels with Rs 1.21 arba turnover; 23 companies managed to close 9% up

The market today gained for the third consecutive trading day to stand at a highest point after the market resume 98 days of halt in the lockdown. NEPSE Index gained massive 2.92% or 37.93 points and closed at 1336.66 points. The market was positive throughout 4 hours of trading, wherein it has made intraday high of 1345.96 points. The total turnover stood Rs 121.24 crore which was achieved through trade of 2,883,948 units of shares traded through 18,140 transactions trading scrips of 178 listed companies in the process.

Today also, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) posted the highest turnover of Rs. 9.12 Core with LTP at Rs.484 per share, followed by Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) with turnover of Rs.8.60 Crore. NRIC stood ahead in terms of volume as well as number of transactions with trade of 1,89,080 units of shares and transaction of 3594 times. 

5 companies hit 10% positive circuit whereas, 18 companies managed to close above 9% up. The gainers list is led by PICL, MFIL, NRIC, NSEWA and OHL. In the loosers side, Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd. (KKHC) stood ahead which lost 3.85% or Rs 2 per scrip to close at Rs 50 at the end. 

Sensitive Index gained 6.71 points and closed at 282.59 points while Float Index gained 2.77 points and closed at 93.60 points.

Today after the long time, all 12 sectors closed at green today, led by Hotels 8.88%, Non Life Insurance 6.32%, and Trading 4.18%.
