NEPSE Index Edges Up By 5.01 Points to Close at 2,936.56 Level; KBL Leads Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 5.01 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,936.56. This follows a 54.51 point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2939.65, touching an intraday high of 2,941.53, while the lowest point was 2,906.05. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 15.78 Arba, with 38,073,945 shares traded across 342 companies through 156,381 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 49.77 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.98 Kharba.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 67.23 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 246.40

Four Companies Hit Upper Circuit with 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.71%.

Among sectors, the HydroPower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.96%, while the Hotels And Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 0.86%.
