NEPSE Index Edges Up By 1.77 points On Last Trading Day Of this Week

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, declining by 1.77 points (0.06%) to settle at 2,731.94. This comes after a loss of 10.07 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.
The benchmark index opened at 2726.98 and reached an intraday high of 2,744.05, while the day’s low stood at 2,744.05. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.09 Arba, with 7,934,444 shares traded across 338 companies through 43,674 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.59 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.55 Kharba.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 30.66 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 455.00.

7% Nabil Debenture 2089 (NABILD2089) Led the gainer's list with 7.71%. The Stock closed at Rs. 1,145.00.

Meanwhile, Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 14.79%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 455.00.

Among sectors, the Non Life Insurance registered the highest fall by 0.64%, while Mutual Fund recorded highest gain, gaining by 0.33%.
