Nepse Index dwindled by 16.47 points to close at 1514.88 points; Highest turnover of Everest Bank with Rs16.42 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 16.47 points or 1.08% to close at 1514.88 points. Nepse Index opened at 1531.53 points today and the local bourse was seen in downward trend. 50,053 units’ shares of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) and 42,781 units’ shares of NMB Bank Promoter Shares (NMBPO) were traded most today. NB Insurance hit positive circuit today. Everest Bank Limited has the highest turnover of Rs 16.42 crore today. The number of transaction of EBL reached 559. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 56.16 crore where more than 6.89 lakh units shares were traded through 4,066transactions. Sensitive index and float index decreased by 3.73 and 1.23 points respectively. Except Manufacturing & production, all the sub-indices landed in red zone today.  Insurance sub-group plunged by 103.49 points.
