Nepse Index dwindled by 13.09 points with turnover of Rs 68.74 crore; 4 BFIs hit circuit break

On the first trading day after Chhath festival, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dwindled by 13.09 points or 0.74% to close at 1749.12 points. Opening at 1762.74 points, the local bourse went up to1764.24 points during first trading hour of the day and after that it was seen in downward trend. 152,931 unit share of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) and 62,000 Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) were traded most today Laxmi Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (LLBS), NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMBMF), Vibor Society Development Bank Limited (VSDBL) and Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 68.74 crore where more than 8.81 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,193 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 2.98 and 0.98 points respectively. Except Hotels and, Finance, sub-indices of all trading groups landed in red.
