NEPSE Index down by meager 0.62 points to close at 1134.47 level; EBL, NIBPO & ILFC have the highest turnover

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 0.62 points or 0.05% to close at level. Opening at 1135.09 level this afternoon, the local bourse came down to a level of 1124.78 level during the first trading hour and later was seen in upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 29.26 crore where more than 5 lakhs unit shares were traded through 1,509 transactions. The turnover of EBL, NIBPO and ILFC were Rs 7.19 crore, Rs 3.03crore and Rs 2.24 crore respectively. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 0.18 points and 0.03 points respectively. Except Hydropower, Finance and Other sector, all other sectors landed in red.
