Nepse Index down by 9.87 points to close at 1467.51 points; Insurance sector plunges by 104.77 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 9.87 points or 0.67%  to close at 1,467.51 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1477.39  points and was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 66.95 crore where more than 13 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3, 217 transactions. Top stocks by turnover list contains the name of five insurance companies. Sensitive index and float index went down by 2.23  and 0.54  points respectively. Except Development Banks, all the sectors at Nepse landed in red. Insurance sector down by 104.77 points.
