Nepse Index down by 8.56 points to close at 1523.56 points; Mega Bank had a turnover of Rs 10.59 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 8.56 points or 0.56% to close at 1,523.56  points.NEPSE index opened at 1531.72 points. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.22 arba where more than 23 lakhs unit shares were traded through 5,974 transactions. Though the market witnessed a significant decline during the early hours, it recovered half of its fall in the latter part of the trading day. With the significant amount of turnover, investors don’t seem to be disheartened already.Though hydropower saw a major fall it can also be seen as correction from yesterday’s whim.With the highest turnover for Mega bank, saturation seems undue as of yet. Market will possibly remain in the green zone in the upcoming days. Sensitive index and float index went down by 1.75 and 0.74 points respectively. Except Hotels and Finance all the sectors at Nepse landed on red.
