NEPSE Index down by 7.36 points to close at 1,084.37 level; Investors showed sign of confidence after free-fall of market

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 7.36 points or 0.67% to close at 1084.37 level. Opening at the 1091.76 level this afternoon, the local brouse went down to a level of 1061.83 level and later was seen in upward trend. Market recovered after plunging 30 points in second trading hour. In the last trading hour the investor gained confidence reversing the free-fall of the market but failing to make the market green. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 25.84 crore where more than 4 lakhs unit shares were traded through 2,035 transactions. Sensitive index and the float index went down by 1.65 points and 0.37 points respectively. All the sectors at NEPSE landed in red.
