Nepse Index down by 4.98 points to close at 1,463.13 points; Market in correction mode

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down  by  4.98 points or 0.34%  to close at 1,463.13 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1468.12 points and went down to 1450.34 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 73.17 crore where more than 8 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,756 transactions. Today, top ten stocks by turnover list contains 8 commercial banks. Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) is the top stock by shares traded today. 107,766 unit shares of NBB were traded today. Sensitive index and float index went down  by 1.05 and 0.17 points respectively. Except Hotels and Others, all the sectors at Nepse landed in green.
