Nepse Index down by 2.84 points to close at 1,522.25 levels on post budget day; Turnover stood Rs. 1.18 arba

On the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 2.84 points or 0.19% to close at 1,522.25 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1525.12 points and went down to 1514.67 points during the second trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.18  arba where more than 21  lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,665 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went down by 0.81 and 0.18  points respectively. Except Banking, Development Banks  and Finance landed on red.  Hydropower sector went up by 75.92 points.
