Nepse Index down by 2.52 points to close at 1471.95; Turnover of Rs. 96.82 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down  by  2.52 points or 0.17%  to close at 1,471.95 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1473.14 points and was seen in a downward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 96.82 crore where more than 23 lakhs unit shares were traded through 4,091 transactions. Today, the top ten stocks by turnover list consists of eight commercial banks. Sensitive index and float index went down  by 0.59 and 0.18 points respectively. Except Hotels,  Hydropowers  and Manufacturing & Production, all the sectors at Nepse landed in red.
