NEPSE Index Dips By 0.29% To Close at 2,669.51 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 10.69 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 7.94 points (0.29%) to settle at 2,669.51. This follows a 49.09-point gain in the previous session. 

The benchmark index opened at 2,712.26, touching an intraday high at 2,771.47, while the lowest point was 2,667.85. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 10.69 Arba, with 23,026,245 shares traded across 316 companies through 88,121 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.42 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.92 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 71.03 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 771.10.

Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited (OMPL) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.32%.

Among sectors, the Banking Index posted the highest increase of 0.25%, whereas the Hydropower Index saw the highest loss of 1.00%.
