NEPSE Index Dips By 0.10% To Close at 2,609.05 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 8.50 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, falling by 2.79 points (0.10%) to settle at 2,609.05. This follows an 8.41-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,608.26, touching an intraday high at 2,625.26, while the lowest point was 2,606.09. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.50 Arba, with 16,907,737 shares traded across 309 companies through 79,893 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.40 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.50 Kharba.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 70.37 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,297.00.
Two indices led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.78%.
Among sectors, the Others Index posted the highest increase of 4.19%, whereas the Trading Index saw the highest loss of 2.68%.
