Nepse Index dipped by 3.01 points to close at 1698.90 points; Turnover above Rs 1.19 arba; highest transaction of EBL & NLICL

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 3.01 points or 0.18% to close at 1698.90 points.
Today NEPSE index opened at 1701.99 points, the local bourse went up to 1708.46 points in the first trading hour of the day and was seen in the downward trend.
121,689 units shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) and 102,479.unit shares of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) were traded most today.
Everest Bank Limited and National Life Insurance Company Limited have the highest turnover of Rs 38.95 crore and Rs 22.71 crore respectively today. The number of transaction of EBL reached 595.
Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL) hit circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.19 arba where more than 10 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,691 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went down by 0.56 and 0.33 points respectively.
Except Banking, Development Bank and Hydropower, all trading groups landed in green.
Sub-indices of Banking , Development Banks and Hydropower group dipped by 5.61 points, 13.69 points and 23.94 points respectively.
