NEPSE Index corrected by 1.54%, loses 18.12 points today; more than 1 Lakh shares of Prabhu Bank traded

The market today went back on the losing track as it lost double digit points today. The benchmark index lost 1.54% or 18.12 points and closed at 1155.30 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.39.99 Crore achieved through trade of 1,224,572 units of shares traded through 7,535 transactions trading 166 scrips of listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) posted the highest turnover today of Rs.5.42 Crore with LTP at Rs.572 per share. Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 100,039 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.265 per share.

Samata Microfinance (SMATA) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 10% or 54 points and closed at Rs.594 per share. Gurans Laghubitta (GLBSL) was today’s top loser as it lost 8.46% or 42 points and closed at Rs.454 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 3.49 points and closed at 252.21 points while Float Index lost 1.22 points and closed at 85.55 points.

Trading and Mutual Funds were the gaining sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
