NEPSE Index continues gaining streak along with growing turnover; two companies hit the positive circuit

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day crossing 1285 points at its highest. NEPSE closed at 1270.86 points with gain of 15.14 points or 1.21%, highest after July 24, 2019. The turnover amount increased to Rs.1.70 Arba achieved through trade of 5,518,636 units of shares traded through 19,530 transactions trading scrips of 183 listed companies in the process. The turnover was highest today after April 12, 2017 during which market was at 1700 level.

Nepal Telecom (NTC) posted the highest turnover at Rs.6.04 Crore with LTP at Rs.645 per share. Prabhu Bank (PRVU) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 180,770 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.244 per share.

Two companies hit the positive circuit today. Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL) gained 9.87% and Sanima Mai Hydropower (SHPC) gained 9.78%. Civil Laghubitta (CLBSL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.98% or 51 points and closed at Rs.801 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 3.55 points and closed at 276.28 points while Float index lost 3.44 points and closed at 89.94 points.

Manufacturing and Microfinance were among losing sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
