NEPSE Index Closes With a Minimal Gain On the Last Trading Day of this Week

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit gain today, gaining by only 1.63 points (0.06%) to settle at 2,702.11. This comes after a small loss of 5.06 points in the Yesterday's trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2711.47 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,712.45 and a low of 2,691.86 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.53 Arba, with 10,922,525 shares traded across 353 companies through 61,170 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.17 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.51 Kharba.
Global IME Bank Limited Debenture 2086/87 (GBILD86/87) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 31.98 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,141.80.
Appolo Hydropower Limited (APHL) Led the gainer's list with 14.99% positive circuit. The stock Closed at Rs. 916.00.
Meanwhile, Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 12.45%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 777.40.
Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain by 0.75%, while Mutual Fund recorded highest fall, falling by 0.49%.
