Nepse Index closes positively by 6.67 points with turnover above Rs 92.87 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) surged by 6.67 points or 0.42% to close at 1606.29 points. After massive downfall by 58.46 points yesterday, NEPSE index opened at 1599.60 points today, the local bourse went down to 1573.4 points in the first trading hour of the day and was seen in the upward trend. The market was seen fluctuating today. 286,200 units shares of NB Insurance Promoter Shares (NBILPO) and 76,928 unit shares of Civil Bank Limited (EBL) were traded most today. Everest Bank Limited has the highest turnover of Rs 12.80 crore today. The number of transaction of EBL reached 304. Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL) hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 92.87 crore where more than 13.86 lakh units’ shares were traded through 5,737 transactions. Sensitive and float index went up by 1.62 and 0.32 points respectively. Except Insurance, Development Bank and Hydropower, all trading groups landed in green. Sub-indices of Insurance , Development Banks and Hydropower group dipped by 10.73 points, 13.64 points and 0.65 points respectively. traded transa turnovergain lose sector
