Nepse Index closes positively by 4.78 points on the last trading day; Turnover above Rs 50.22 crore

On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has increased by 4.78 points or 0.33% to close at 1475.41 points. Nepse Index opened at 1470.62 points today and the local bourse went down to 1466.89 points in the first trading hour of the day, afterward it was seen in upward trend. 122,337 units shares of Sunrise Bank Limited Promoter Shares (SRBLPO) and 57,430 units shares of Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 50.22 crore where more than 7.69 lakh units shares were traded 3,997 transactions. Sensitive index and float index decreased by 1.2 and 0.04 points respectively. Except Hotels, Hydropower, Finance and Insurance sub-indices, all the sub-indices landed in green zone today.  Hydropower & Hotels sub-group declined by double digit.
