NEPSE Increased 15.49 Points To Settle At 2,127.47 Levels; Reports Highest Turnover In The Last 4-Months To stand at Rs.4.97 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,127.47 today after gaining 15.49 points from yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 0.73%. The index had gained 23.83 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2113.35 points and went intraday low at 2,106.95. The index went intraday high at 2,156.39 and ultimately closed at 2,127.47.

221 scrips traded hands via 72,450 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 11,955,076 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.97 Arba in the turnover amount. This is the highest turnover since 27th march when it was 4.98 Arba.

Arun Kabeli Power Ltd. (AKPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 17.96 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 500 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.

 

The newly listed hydropower company, Bindyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) gained all it could for the day and hit the positive circuit.

 

On the other side of things, Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RBCL) lost all 3.91% today.

Three sectors closed red, and "Finance" gained the highest 3.13% while "Non-life Insurance" lost 0.01%.
