NEPSE goes green to close at 1,249.93 points; Turnover still below par

The stock market has recorded increment of 8.09 points in the trading period. The index which had started at 1,241.84 points reached 1,249.93 points to end the day’s trade.

During the day, 8,91,609 unit shares were traded which resulted in turnover exceeding Rs 23.28 crore. Shares of 152 listed companies were traded through 3,750 transactions.

Repeating the previous two days, Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) was ahead in terms of turnover and units traded as 1,33,851 units worth more than Rs 3.37 crore were traded.

Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) was the top gainer for the day as the price of the stock increased by 7 points. However, Century Commercial Bank Limited Promoter Share (CCBLPO) was the top loser for the day as the price of the stock decreased by 8 points.

Both the Sensitive index and Float index increased by 1.73 points and 0.53 points respectively.

All the sub-indices ended in the green zone. Hotels gained 70.69 points which was followed by Non-Life Insurance sector gaining 63.68 points.
