NEPSE Gains Subtly to Close at 2,694.66 Levels; NGPL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.22 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 1.60 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,694.66. This follows a 17.44-point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,715.95, touching an intraday high at 2,726.60, while the lowest point was 2,686.93. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.22 Arba, with 22,031,861 shares traded across 314 companies through 83,016 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.87 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.13 Kharba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 87.47 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 388.

Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.45%.
Among sectors, the Hotels and Tourism Index posted the highest increase of 2.39%, whereas the Banking SubIndex saw the highest loss of 0.59%.
