NEPSE gains after four days of fall; Global IME shares traded the most

The Market reached a high of 1247 points today but ended to gain 2.69 points or 0.22% and closed at 1241.36 points. The turnover was at Rs.45.20 Crore which was achieved from trade of 2,031,496 units of share through 4,877 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies.

Global IME Bank (GBIME) stood ahead in terms of turnover as well as shares traded after 115,797 units of shares were traded posting a turnover of Rs.3.65 Crore. The LTP of the bank stood at Rs.316 per share.

Nadep Laghubitta (NADEP) gained 9.92% or 92 points making it today’s top gainer. The LTP of the microfinance company stood at Rs.1019 per share. The top loser today was Bhargav Bikas Bank (BHBL) after it lost 16 points or 9.35% to close at Rs.155 per share.

Sensitive Index grew by 0.65 points and closed at 263.45 points and Float Index grew by 0.12 points and closed at 90.28 points.

Today the losing sub-indices were Hotels, Development Banks, Hydropower, Finance and Manufacturing and Production sectors while the rest of the sectors gained. The top losing sector was Manufacturing and Production after it lost 0.24% while the top gaining sector was Others which stood to gain 1.06%.
