NEPSE gains 6 points and closes at 1220.52 points; MBL shares traded the most

The market today ended in the green zone, gaining 6.16 points or 0.51%. The market closed at 1220.52 points. The turnover was at Rs.37.16 Crore achieved from trade of 1,451,572 units of shares through 4,046 transactions trading scrips of 163 companies in the process.

Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover and shares traded with turnover of Rs.9.69 Crore through trade of 456,502 units of shares.

Sensitive Index gained 1.29 points and closed at 258.82 points while Float Index gained 0.58 points and closed at 88.72 points.

Life Insurance sector and Others sector were the only losing sub-indices. Life Insurance lost 0.09% while Others lost 0.54%. Top gaining sub-index was Hotels which gained 2.68%. The Banking sector posted a turnover of Rs.23.98 Crore.
