NEPSE gains 13 points on Teej festivals; NIC Asia increased almost 5% with close to 5 crore turnover alone

Today, the market gained 13.06 points marking an increase of 1.07% and closed at 1230.71 points. The turnover was Rs.43.29 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,393,649 units of shares through 4,177 transactions trading scrips of 165 companies.

NIC Asia Bank (NICA) stood on top of highest turnover and shares traded list with its turnover standing at Rs.4.89 Crore which was achieved from trade of 128,576 units of shares. Global IME Bank (GBIME) stood second on both the lists.

Sensitive Index gained 2.79 points and Float Index gained 1.07 points.

Today’s losing sub-indices included Hotels, Finance and Manufacturing & Production sector while rest of the sub-indices gained. The highest gaining sub-index was Non-Life Insurance sector after it gained 113.52 points.
