NEPSE gains 11.92 points; Laxmi Laghubitta becomes top gainer for the day

NEPSE has closed at 1,219.20 points gaining 11.92 points. The market which had started at 1,207.28 gained 0.99% till the end of the day.

8,22,207 unit shares were exchanged during the day resulting in total turnover of Rs 24.45 crore. Shares of 155 listed companies were exchanged through 3,053 transactions.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) was the top stock by turnover and units traded.1.70 lakh unit shares of Prabhu Bank worth more than Rs 4.17 crore were exchanged during the day.

Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS) was the top gainer for the day gaining 51 points and its LTP stood at Rs 901. However, Shrijana Finance (Bittiya Sanstha) (SFFIL) was the top loser for the day losing 5 points and its LTP stood at Rs 263.

Both the Sensitive index and Float index increased by 2.51 points and 0.9 points respectively.

All the sub-indices increased and ended in the green zone. Non-Life Insurance sector gained 87.45 points which was followed by Life Insurance gaining 49.62 points.
