NEPSE gains 0.08 points with Hydropower gaining 3.10%; CZBIL loses the most after dividend declaration

The market today gained a minimum of 0.08 points and closed at 1141.18 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.26.88 Crore achieved from trade of 865,719 units of shares traded through 2,817 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.

195,000 units of IME General Insurance Promoter Shares (IGIPO) were traded today, posting a turnover of Rs.4.87 Crore making it to the top of turnover and shares traded list. The LTP of the promoter shares stand at Rs.250 per share. IGIPO were followed by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) on both the lists. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.297 per share.

Chilime Hydropower Company (CHCL) gained the most today, gaining 6.74% or 41 points and closed at Rs.649 per share. Today’s top loser was Citizens Bank (CZBIL) as it lost 4.01% or 9 points to close at Rs.215 per share.

Sensitive Index remained unchanged at 243.06 points while Float Index gained 0.08 points to close at 82.88 points.

Banking, Hotels, Development Banks, Non-Life Insurance and Microfinance sectors were among the losing sun-indices while rest of the sub-indices gained. Hotels lost the most at 2.12% while Hydropower gained the most at 3.10%.
