NEPSE falls to 1170.34 points after massive 14 point loss today; closes in red for fourth consecutive day

The market today slumped by massive 1.22% or 14.45 points as it continues to fall for the fourth consecutive day. The benchmark index closed at 1170.34 points. The turnover stood at Rs.40.75 Crore achieved through trade of 1,380,660 units of shares traded through 10,770 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) posted the highest turnover of Rs.2.56 Crore with LTP at Rs.314 per share. United Finance Limited (UFL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 118,762 units of shares. The LTP of the company stands at Rs.180 per share.

Dibyashwari Hydropower (DHPL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.45% or 3 points and closed at Rs.58 per share. Grameen Bikas Laghubitta (GBLBS) was the top loser after it lost 7.96% or 29 points and closed at Rs.335 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 2.98 points and closed at 256.31 points while Float Index lost 1.08 points and closed at 86.18 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. Life Insurance was the top loser after losing 1.79% or 95.68 points.
