NEPSE Falls Double Digit on the First Trading Day of the Week, Only One Sector Closes in Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit fall today falling by 12.26 points (0.45%) to settle at 2,711.76. This comes after a fall of 4.00 points in the Previous week last day trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,720.43and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,729.59 and a low of 2,705.03 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.41 Arba, with 10,739,998 shares traded across 350 companies through 51,702 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.33 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.57 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 38.85 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 397.0.

Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Led the gainer's list with 14.99%.The stock Closed at Rs. 611.40.

Meanwhile, Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 7.94%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,113.00.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain by 0.11%, while Others Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.82%.
