NEPSE falls by 7.47 points to close at 1153.98 points; more than Rs.6 Crore worth of Global IME Bank Promoter Shares traded today

After reaching a high of 1162.64 points, the market today stood to lose 0.64% or 7.47 points. The benchmark index closed at 1153.98 points. Today’s turnover was at Rs.36.07 Crore which was achieved from trade of 1,393,558 units of shares traded through 4,819 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Global IME Bank (GBIMEP) were traded the most today. The scrip posted a turnover of Rs.6.39 Crore which was achieved through trade of 359,636 units of share. THE LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.177 per share.

United Finance Limited (UFL) continues its gaining streak. The finance company gained 8.72% or 17 points and closed at Rs.212 per share. Janautthan Samudayik Laghubitta (JSLBB) was today’s top loser after it lost 5.16% or 120 points and closed at Rs.2203 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.62 points and closed at 245.54 points while Float Index lost 0.65 points and closed at 84.07 points.

Finance and Manufacturing & Processing were the only gaining sub-indices today, which grew by 0.71% and 0.38% respectively. Rest of the sun-indices ended in the red zone with Life Insurance losing the most at 1.27%.
