NEPSE Fall Mere 0.25% to Settle at 1,933.88 Levels; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 96.52 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,933.88 today after losing 4.87 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.25%. The index lost 24.46 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,941.08 and made an intraday low at 1,922.13. It then made intraday high of 1,944.11 and ultimately closed at 1,933.88.

238 scrips traded hands via 19,121 transactions. A total of 2,581,425 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 96.52 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.670 Arba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 580 per share.

Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 8.17% for the day.

On the other side of things, NMB Bank Limited (NMB) lost 6.07% today.

Three sector indices closed green, "Investment" lost the highest by 0.91% while "Others" gained the highest by 0.57%.
