NEPSE Extends Losses on Second Trading Day of the Week, Turnover Reaches Rs. 4.04 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit fall today falling by 6.31 points (0.23%) to settle at 2,705.45. This comes after a fall of 12.26 points in the Yesterday's trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2,772.51 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,722.81 and a low of 2,701.56 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.04 Arba, with 10,708,596 shares traded across 355 companies through 48,116 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.22 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.52 Kharba.

 

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 31.99 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 394.8.


Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Led the gainer's list with 15.00%.The stock Closed at Rs. 703.10.


Meanwhile, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.90%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 602.00.

 

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain by 0.31%, whileFinance Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.62%.
