NEPSE Ends Today's Session at 2,077.24 With Market Capitalization of Rs. 3.11 Trillion; Volume at Rs 2.09 Arba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,077.24 points, as the index fell by a minimal 3.61 points or 0.17% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a gain of 14.81 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,079.25 and briefly touching an intraday high of 2,094.04. However, the market reached an intraday low of 2,073.49, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,077.24.
During today's trading, a total of 279 scrips were exchanged through 68,842 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 5,417,928, representing a turnover of Rs. 2.09 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 31.10 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.96 Kharba.
IME Life Insurance Company Limited (ILI) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 11.24 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 589.90.
Similarly, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) gained the highest 9.98% to close at Rs. 308.50.
Meanwhile, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited (SPIL) lost the highest 6.46% today.
In terms of sector indices, five sector indices closed green while the remaining closed red. Manufacturing and Processing Index gained the most with 0.65 percent positive change while Hydropower Index lost the most 1.59%.
