NEPSE end gaining 1.61 points after reaching a high of 1167.15 points; NMB Bank continues to dominate trade

The market had gained more than 7 points today, but ended to gain 0.14% or 1.61 points closing at 1161.43 points. The turnover for today was of Rs.23.16 Crore achieved from trade of 788,169 units of shares traded through 3,577 transactions trading scrips of 154 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank (NMB) continues to be traded the most. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.1.94 Crore achieved through trade of 54,285 units of shares. The LTP of the bank stands at Rs.358 per share.

Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) was today’s top gainer after it gained 8.37% or 119 points to close at Rs.1540 per share. NLG Insurance Company (NLG) lost 3.92% or 34 points to lose the most today. The LTP of the insurance company stands at Rs.833 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.34 points and closed at 246.96 points while Float Index gained 0.14 points and closed at 84.43 points.

Today’s gaining sub-indices were Banking, Development Banks, Hotels, Hydropower and Others. Rest of the sub-indices lost points ending in the red zone with Non-Life Insurance losing the most.
