NEPSE drops from high of 1285.50 points to 1259.01 points, gaining 4.45 points; Mutual Funds sub-index gains the most today

The market today opened at a high of 1285.50 points. However, it eventually closed to gain 0.35% or 4.45 points. The benchmark index stands at 1259.01 points. The turnover stood at Rs.34.72 Crore achieved from trade of 1,956,630 units of shares traded through 4,549 transactions trading scrips of 161 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated today’s trade with turnover of Rs.5.78 Crore achieved through trade of 172,096 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stand at Rs.336 per share.

Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.12% or 1 point and closed at Rs.9.33 per unit. Ankhu Khola Hydropower (AKJCL) was today’s top loser as it lost 4.16% or 3 points and closed at Rs.69 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.97 points and closed at 271.25 points while Float Index gained 0.32 points and closed at 92.42 points.

All the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points today. Mutual Funds were the top gainers after posting a growth of 4.98%.
