NEPSE drops by double digits; turnover falls slightly

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has decreased by 24.89 points today (1.71%) to close trading at 1432.99, the lowest it has been in the past 18 trading days. Today, the turnover was Rs 38.57 crores—Rs 4.66 crores less than yesterday. Today, Nepse Index opened at 1457.88 points, though it was stable for the first 30 minutes, it then slipped by almost 25 points. It however failed to recover and ended up at 1432.99 points. 99,838 units of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) and 79,450 units of Prabhu Bank Promoter Share (PRVUPO) were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 38.57 crores. 8.53 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,603 transactions. Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Shares (RBCLPO) and Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL) were the highest gainers. Khani Khola Hydropower Company (KKHC) and Lumbini Finance Limited (LFLC) lost the most today. Today, the sensitive index dropped by 5.5 points, whereas float index dropped by 1.87 points.
